No charge. Ships today. Chassis is updated and in working order. No cabinet, cannot provide one. I noted that the purpose of the shipping was "Repair and Return" on the commercial invoice as well as the shipping manifest, so you shouldn't need to pay duty.

Hello David;

This has taken so long, I can't charge for the update any more.

I have the amp on my bench. I have not had the opportunity to finish the amp yet. The problem was that the reverb control wasn't working properly, and I had to take the main circuit board out to get at the circuitry. We haven't made Superfly amps for years, so I had to reset the test systems for testing Superfly amps. I'm going to do my best to get it finished this week, as the sooner it gets done, the sooner I can have that bench back.

Hi Dave;

The Reverb tube (small tube nearest the large transfomer and near the RCA jack for Reverb Send) should be a 12AT7 type. a 12AX7 used here might exhibit intermittent behavior. Also, it COULD be a faulty 12AT7. Check that and let me know. If it were something like a bad Reverb transformer, that is covered under warranty and would mean no charge (other than shipping) for the complete upgrade.

Upgrades include everything we know that will improve the Superfly.

UK- I don't know anyone in the UK with the ability who has the time. Adrian from Orange had done one upgrade fix for us (after some famous and clueless amp tech couldn't figure it out). As far as shipping goes, I may be able to get the amp consigned with another cargo to substantially reduce the shipping cost. However, there would be a wait.

If the reverb is not working at all, and all of the tubes are correct and the reverb pan checks out, I will do the upgrade at no charge.

What is the serial number on your Superfly?
